NON-RELATIVITY
A neo-classical theory of Light
The electrostatic forces may be colossal!
Separating the negative particles of a tiny drop of water, weighing a single
milligram, till they are at a millimeter distance from the positively charged
nuclei, requires an energy 200 times higher than what was delivered by the bomb
that destroyed Hiroshima!
Check it yourself! It takes only a simple classical calculation.
This fact has much to do with (rather against) the theory of relativity, as
professed by Einstein. It allows a simple explanation of what is thought to be
a terrible enigma, whose only solution is currently believed to be a theory
pretending that a single second of time duration, relative to an observer, may
be as much as a century, relative to another observer!
The explanation, detailed in the “Relativistic Mythology” book, makes it
unnecessary to believe in such an oddity: Classical electrostatic is enough.
What is suggested in the book is simply that the electromagnetic energy
(including light) consists, not in tiny mobile particles, but rather in the
back and forth motion of the electrons, firmly bound to their molecules,
propagating through simple electrostatic interactions between electrons. This
is similar to known wavelike motions, such as sound, which does not consist in
tiny traveling particles, but consists in the wavelike motion of entire
molecules, and is transmitted through collisions between them.
Through these considerations, the book shows why light and other
electromagnetic energies are of a wavelike nature, how they propagate, and why
their speed seems to be constant in the “vacuum”.
The book also shows why speedy particles seem heavier than resting ones, and
even establishes the famous formula m=m0/(1-v2/c2)1/2
through calculation; not through philosophy or postulates.
The book also scientifically reconsiders the most famous formula e=mc2:
The result is quite surprising.
Calculation:
An Avogadro ‘N’ number of molecules of water weighs 18 grams and contains 10
elementary ‘e’ negative and positive electrical charges per molecule. Hence, a
single mg of water contains q=10Ne/18000 opposite electrical charges.
When the opposite charges are fully mixed, the attraction force between them is
nil. That force linearly grows up till f=kq2/d2 when they
become fully apart, d being the distance between their centers, and k Coulomb
constant.
This separation requires an amount of energy equal to fd/2=kq2/2d.
With N=6x1023, e=1.6x10-19, k=9x109, d=10-3
(a millimeter), q is equal to about 53 Coulombs and the amount of energy
required is about 1.28x1016 Joule.
At the rate of about 4000 Joule per gram of TNT, this is equivalent to about 3
million tons of that matter, i.e. 200 times the bomb that destroyed Hiroshima,
which was equivalent to about 15 thousand tons of TNT.
